Good evening - Our annual Jackson County Schools STEM night event will be held on Tuesday, March 26, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ripley Elementary School. STEM night is open to all Jackson County elementary-age students. We are asking parents to accompany their children during the event. Many of our "exhibitors" will be local companies and community members who will share their knowledge and passion for science, technology, engineering, and math - including representatives from Dow Chemical, Roane Jackson Technical Center, High School Robotics teams, Constellium, STAR Plastics, WVU Extension Agents, Project Lead the Way, and many others. HJK would like to thank Nurse Stephanie and Merinda from Coplin Health Systems for providing our students with a Dental Health Presentation. Coplin also donated a dental health packet for each student that we will send home soon! Brush those pearly whites!
HJK's Title 1 Family Game Night was a huge success. A big thanks to our Title 1 staff and all the families that were able to attend.
Don't Forget Family Game Night is tonight at HJK from 5 to 6. Every student who attends will receive a free game for their family to enjoy.

Good evening parents and guardians. This is a friendly reminder that Monday, February 19, 2024, is a Professional Learning Day for school employees. This means that students will not have classes. As with our last PL day in October, we encourage guardians to schedule conferences with teachers. If you would like to schedule a conference with a teacher, please contact them as soon as possible. Communities In Schools is having a county wide resource day located at the Ravenswood Middle School gym before the Ripley vs Ravenswood basketball game tomorrow evening.
