This is a reminder that the Ripley-area Elementary Track Meet will begin at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow at Ripley High School. The Ravenswood-area Elementary Track meet will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Ravenswood Grade School. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call your child's school. Good afternoon - This is the final reminder that our annual Jackson County Schools STEM night event will be held on Thursday, April 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ripley Elementary School. STEM night is open to all Jackson County elementary-age students. We are asking parents to accompany their children during the event. Many of our "exhibitors" will be local companies and community members who will share their knowledge and passion for science, technology, engineering, and math. The Ravenswood Elementary Track Meet has been postponed due to a strong possibility of severe thunderstorms beginning at 6:00 p.m. this evening. Coaches will notify parents and athletes regarding the make-up date as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.
This is a reminder that all 4th Grade Students will be attending the Alpine Theater in Ripley tomorrow for the presentation of Storyteller Bil Lepp. Students will depart RGS at 11:45AM and will return to RGS by 2:30PM.

Good evening. This is a reminder that Jackson County Schools will be closed for Spring Break beginning Monday, March 24, 2025, through Friday, March 28, 2025. Also, by utilizing our NTI Days and Equivalent Time Days when schools were closed due to inclement weather, the last day of school for students is still May 30, 2025. Please have a wonderful, safe, and relaxing Spring Break.

This is a reminder to all those who have signed up for the Elementary Track for this 2025 season that the first practice will be tomorrow March 13th after school until 4:15PM. Please remember all those participating need to have the Cardiac Response form in before they can practice.

This is a reminder for those students participating in the 2025 Elementary Track, that on Tuesday March 11 @ 3:30 PM there will be a Cardiac Arrest Response Plan Meeting in the cafeteria. Again, this is for those students who have signed up to participate in Elementary Track.

Ravenswood Grade kicked off a food drive to support the No Hunger Food Pantry with a visit from Chris Skeens. The student are doing this in conjunction with a book the whole school is reading together.

The RGS LSIC will meet on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 4:00 pm. All stakeholders are encouraged to participate. The purpose of the meeting is to provide stakeholders with updates regarding the school, open discussions on to how to address issues which are seen to affect the school’s academic performance and review safety/ discipline.
