Good evening RMS Family, we are excited to start the renovation process at Ripley Middle School. Throughout this process we know that communication is key and safety is our first priority. We will have slight changes to our drop off and pick up plan in the near future. This will be the first change of many as the construction progresses. We will continue to update you when we are aware of other changes. Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this exciting process to improve Ripley Middle School. - Morning Drop Off Procedures: will be the same as what we are currently doing with the exception of having 2 drop off lanes along the left side of the lot closest to the road with the bus traffic dropping off students on the right side of the lot closest to the tower. Also, buses will be staged on West School Street blocking traffic from the bridge toward RMS. Traffic will be stopped at 3:06 by the bridge. Cars will be permitted to travel from the bridge to RMS once the students are safely on the bus and buses departing. Good evening RMS Family, the 7th Grade will be hosting Cupid Fest on February 18th from 3:30-5:00. Any 6th-8th Grade student is welcome to join us for dancing, games, and fun! You must be present all day and cannot be on social probation to attend. Students must remain at school in order to attend also. Parents please make sure that you are in the pick-up zone at the school at 5pm to pick-up your child. Good evening RMS 8th Grade Families, We are taking orders for our 8th grade class signature shirt. This shirt, signed by all 8th graders, is a unique way for students to remember their classmates for years to come. The cost is $20. Proceeds fund our annual 8th grade activities at the end of the year. All checks should be made payable to Ripley Middle School. Need another order form? Ask your child to see their science teacher. Please be aware that for safety concerns all flowers are to be in a plastic vase or if glass the vase must be bagged . Also, balloons must be tied short as to not cause a distraction on the bus.
